Hodi offers different tours for participants, in collaboration with touristic travel companies that can be booked through MASX website.

Payment

The payment is done in two parts:

1- 50% during the registration process

2- 50% on arrival in Maputo

Note:
* In case the participant decides to cancel the trip either to Kruger part or Inhaca Island, must do it 15 Days before the festival and will have back 20% of the 50% already paid.

  • In case the participant Pay 100% of the amount and decides to cancel in the Last minutes, will have back 10% of the total amount as we will have already spent part of the money to pay the trip expenses.

A tour needs a minimum of four people to take place, so go with your friends or the someone from Hodi, will collect your sign-ups and suggest a joint tour. Our suggestion is to book a two-day tour to Kruger Park on the 13th – 14th of March or 23rd-24th of March, so that most people can go together but longer tours or tours on different dates are possible if you reach the minimum number of people. All tours have English speaking guides and pick up/drop at the hostel. For more information and bookings contact to be announced soon.

Tours

Kruger Park Safari! Kruger Park is one of Africa’s largest game reserves and is and located just 1,5 hours from Maputo in the provinces of Limpopo and Mpumalanga in northeastern South Africa. In this wild life reserve you can observe the African savana whith its zebras, antilopes, thousands of birds as well as the “big 5” if you are lucky. One day tour: 250US$/person. Two-day tour: 550US$/person.


Inhaca Island – Mozambique’s Hidden Gem

Located just 30 km from Maputo, Inhaca Island is a tropical paradise known for its crystal-clear beaches, coral reefs, and rich biodiversity.

Popular activities include:

  • Snorkeling & diving

  • Boat trips to Portuguese Island

  • Whale & dolphin watching

  • Birdwatching & nature walks

  • Visiting local villages

Accessible by ferry, boat, or small plane, the island offers eco-lodges and guesthouses for a peaceful and sustainable getaway.
